West Highland Way Railroad Bridge

West Highland Way Railroad Bridge

Original acrylic landscape painting on canvas board. West Highland Way Railroad Bridge painting is an original creation by Casey Jacky in 2014, and comes without a frame.

My inspiration for the painting was from a solo hiking trip on part of the West Highland Way in 2014.  I loved the way the bracken looked against the brickwork of the bridge.  They sky was  bright blue when I was there, but I wanted to add a dramatic sunset red sky to the painting.
